Client Notes
In a newly developing district, establish a cornerstone residential tower with engaging street-level presence, connected to natural surroundings. Create places for people to gather, and design homes that balance privacy, views, and community.
Designer Notes
Capturing the natural light and reflections of the Willamette River, the design connects residents to nature through views, green spaces, and gardens. A uniquely serrated floor plan ensures nearly every unit in the upper tower has a view to the Willamette River, and the stepped facades and balconies create a cascading, shifting volume reminiscent of the movement of water. Living units are human scaled, energy-efficient, and filled with natural light.
